Andrew Erlanger
Software Engineer.
Wait. Who?
Andrew, nice to meet you. I was supposed to be a psychologist. I studied psychology at Cambridge and received accreditation to the British Psychological Society. Then I realized I preferred writing code. Life, huh? I’ve now been a software guy for the best part of the last decade – building & managing a hearty mix of digital products.
On the Side.
+ Le Wagon
I also work part-time as a Senior Lecturer at Le Wagon – the world’s #1 ranked coding bootcamp – as part of their web development track.
# Ruby# Javascript
+ Aestival
I co-founded Aestival as a passion project in 2019 and serve as the CTO. We connect live music professionals (audio engineers, light technicians, stage managers, and the like) with employers who require their services.

+ Open Source
I’m a mildly-active member of the StimulusReflex, CableReady and WeasyPrint communities, and have made various OS contributions across all three projects over the years.

In the Past.
+ Kurabu
Cloud-based club management software for sports organizations of all shapes and sizes. I was a founding engineer and spent 1.5 years building out the foundations of the web and mobile apps.
# Founding Engineer# Elixir# React Native
+ Common Goal
Probably the best thing I’ve done. Common Goal is a global football (soccer) movement that I co-founded in 2015. It’s gone on to raise millions of euros for high-impact charities around the world, and partnered with brands ranging from Adidas to EA Sports to UEFA.

+ Movember
A moustache-adjacent charity experience. I was a founding member of the Movember UK team and spearheaded its operations department for the 2011 campaign.
# Founding Member# Social Impact
+ Institute of Network Cultures
Remember when everyone loved social media? Long before the fake news, election meddling, and observed spikes in teen depression, I worked as a researcher at an academic institute that sought to understand social media monopolies through a more critical lens.
