Andrew, nice to meet you :)

I was supposed to be a psychologist. I studied psychology at Cambridge and received accreditation to the British Psychological Society.

Then I realized I was more interested in the statistical modelling I was doing at the time than the actual psychology, and ultimately decided to work with machines instead of minds.

I've now been a software guy for the better part of the last decade, with a focus on web development. I try to create good products that developers enjoy developing and users enjoy using.

I currently serve as CTO / Partner at Code & Co. As a company, we mostly do Tech & Product Due Diligence for Private Equity clients. But that's not what I do. My job is to think hard about the needs of our consultants, and then build products that automate their workflows in some areas and enhance the quality of their insights in others.

I co-founded Aestival as a passion project in 2019 and serve as the CTO. We connect live music professionals (audio engineers, light technicians, stage managers, and the like) with employers who require their services.

I created Germ to help myself learn German in a less boring way than the average textbook allows. It's a command line tool that takes a url (of e.g. an article or blog post), converts it into a dedicated language-learning text, and then sends it to your kindle.

Cloud-based club management software for sports organizations of all shapes and sizes. I was a founding engineer and spent 1.5 years building out the foundations of the web and mobile apps.

Probably the best thing I've done: Common Goal is a global football (soccer) movement that I co-founded in 2015. It's gone on to raise millions of euros for high-impact charities around the world, and partnered with brands ranging from Adidas to EA Sports to UEFA.

A moustache-adjacent charity experience. I was a founding member of the Movember UK team and spearheaded its operations department for the 2011 campaign.
